Actor's Workshop "Cracked Fairy Tales" (ages 9-14) 
Category: Education and Training > Youth Training
Description: Students will incorporate the fundamentals of theatre, learn character development, and story analysis by using a variety of classic fairy tales. Students, in a group or individually, will choose a fairytale and deconstruct literature into a work of performance art. A small presentation will be performed for family and friends on the last day of camp exhibiting what each student or group of students has learned.

Adult Co-ed Sand Volleyball

Description: Players will enjoy a night out for 8-weeks of exercise and fun. (Beginner/ Intermediate Level) Each team will consist of 6-8 players (equal gender ratio). Please register all team players with (1) designated contact person. Each participant must sign a waiver and release before start of games. Each registered player will receive a T-shirt. If games are rained out, make-ups will be on Saturday mornings.

American Red Cross Babysitter's Training (ages 11-15)

Description: The Schererville Parks Dept. will be offering a fun and educational program that will teach the responsibilities and qualities of being a good babysitter. You’ll learn how to make good decisions, supervise children, and adjust your own actions based on the ages of the child, plus how to handle emergencies and much more. You must attend both classes to receive a Red Cross Certificate.
Amish Acres Arts & Crafts Festival

Pick up clues at the Roman Coliseum, race other teams the length of the Great Wall of China and visit the Pyramids of Egypt. Don’t spend too much time at the Great Barrier Reef or the Grand Canyon though, or another robot might beat you to the four corners of the earth.

All participants will receive a FREE one week pass to Omni 41 Health & Fitness at the beginning of the program. Also all members can earn a T-shirt and one month free pass to Omni 41 Health & Fitness at the end of the session. Our Step Up to Health members will meet once a week at Redar Park and other local trails for a 30 minute walk and motivational tips to add more steps to your day. Omni 41 will offer periodic discussions on proper nutrition and exercise to reach your goal of a strong body and healthy heart.

During the months of June, July, and August our students will learn how to draw and discover a colorful collection of “Summer Fun” imagery. A detailed sand pail, a fierce shark, and a sailboat are just some of the drawings the students will create. All materials are provided. Price is per session.
Youth Bowling (Ages 6-15)
